Hi, I’m Alyssa — an E-RYT 500 Yoga Instructor and proud Boise native. I’ve been teaching yoga since 2012, and my journey with this practice has been deeply shaped by my love for nature, movement, and mindfulness.
As an outdoor enthusiast, athlete, and lifelong learner, yoga has become the foundation of my physical recovery, emotional resilience, and overall well-being. Whether I’m running, biking, skiing, or hiking through the Idaho mountains and beyond, yoga helps me stay grounded, balanced, and connected — both on and off the mat.
I began my formal yoga education in Nosara, Costa Rica with Don and Amba Stapleton, and since then, I’ve continued to study and practice various styles of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. I believe yoga is for every body, and my approach to teaching blends the art and science of the practice into an experience that feels accessible, authentic, and supportive.
In addition to group classes, I offer private yoga sessions and Pranassage® — a deeply restorative, hands-on experience that combines assisted stretching, gentle movement, and guided relaxation.
When I’m not teaching or practicing yoga, you’ll find me hidden in a good book, in the kitchen creating, traveling, or spending time with my family. Nature is where I feel most alive, and I love sharing that energy in the way I teach and live.
